Dreamer. Chasing Dreams.

I officially move out of my apartment this weekend to store all of my stuff in storage until we **fingers crossed** successfully close on our house on May 4th. So, in addition to worrying about inspections and appraisals, I’m also trying to pack up everything and sort it for storage or for going with me to Casa de Patzwaldt, also known as my parents. To add to that:

- On of my bff’s is coming home from her nine month excursion around the world on Wednesday. Literally, she packed a bag and her bike and hitched (ok, paid) for a plane to Ireland. She biked across Ireland and made it Belgium, France, Barcelona (lots of places in between). Then caught a flight to Ecuador and has been traveling across S. America for the past four months. I’m so excited to see her!!!

- I’m having surgery on my ankle later this month…so, I’m also trying to consciously pack shoes that work on crutches— without limiting my style :)

- Work has been crazy. I definitely prefer busy to boring, but oh.my.word.

Lots of things to be thankful for!!

Somewhere between work, the Spring weather, and getting the most out of my time out of work I forgot to start packing for my move- in just 10 days! It’s crazy to think the day is finally here, as I have been anxiously awaiting a bigger space, closer to work for what seems like forever!

Nonetheless, I finally started packing this past weekend. And by packing, I mean cleaning out my closets, donating old stuff to goodwill and somehow trying to keeps tabs on Carter to make sure he doesn’t destroy my current apartment when I’m not looking.

AKA, Story of my life (although, that’s not me):

Here’s to hoping I get it all done before next Friday :)

I know it’s only February, but can I tell you I am SUPER excited for the next three months of my life. Why?

March: I move into my new apartment & my Big sister from college is getting married!!

April: Jimmy Buffett!!!

May:…. GRAND FINALE! I’m going to to visit my cousin in Rome, Florence, and Paris!!! For nine whole days, my aunt, cousin and I will travel across these three parts of Europe! I’m sooooo excited. I hope Europe can handle us.  My cousin has been studying in Florence since early January and my aunt and I just booked our tickets last night! (Our happy dance did not do our excitement justice!)

Added bonus: I took French for seven years— now I get to really use it! AND, I’ve already started on my Italian— to and from work everyday :) Mi chiamo, Melissa!
